Our Project

The project concerns the protection of the environment, emphasizing the use of renewable energy as the problem needs constant attention and urgent solution






Our Project's Aims

  • making students aware of the importance of using alternative sources of energy; 
  • encouraging students to improve their English and ICT skills; 
  • promoting an ecological life as a strategy for being ecological and healthy, thus leading a lifelong ecological lifestyle; 
  • imposing a long-term policy of schools in dealing with the problem of overusing electricity and neglecting environmental matters; 
  • supporting social inclusion and prevention of discrimination; 
  • developing knowledge among students and teachers of the diversity of European cultures thus promoting respect and tolerance for other nations. 

Results and Impacts

 We are sure that there will be a positive, measurable impact at the level of participants (with a clear increasing in awareness of ecological problems among the target group members), of the local school communities and wider communities, at the level of the institutions involved and other related institutions, at local, regional, national and international levels.

Along the years the “Danubiana” Technical College Roman has succeeded in creating, with the help of some valuable people, the image of a school which offers, together with a distinguished education, the perspective of the pupils’ personal development and of its graduates’ social and professional integration.
The greatest college in the north of Moldavia is recognized as being one of the choice school in the area, a school which has achieved fame and tradition in the field of food industry specializations which are unique in the county.
There are 1380 students attending this school. The majority of students, about 70 percent, are rural residents, coming from the rural areas of Neamt County, while the rest of 30 percent is urban.
At school, we have developed a global citizenship framework that addresses these SDGs who it’s designed to boost students’ awareness of energy-related challenges across the world, alongside other UN goals. It seeks to inform and empower today’s students and show them that they can contribute to a future that has clean, renewable and affordable energy for all.
Our students participated at the county and national level of the contests> Energy Detective and Energy Conversions with the projects: The Answer is Blowing in the Wind and Hydropower--Building a "Turbin-ator" and Which Grass Produces More Biomass?
At school, teachers use a unit on renewable energy to teach basic scientific principles: converting energy from one form to another or generating electricity and they incorporate laboratory activities on renewable energy into a unit on the environmental impact of energy use.

Our school was founded in 1977 and located in Eyüp district of Istanbul, TURKEY. About 120 teachers work in our school and we have about 2000 students. We have two different schools, secondary school and high school. While preparing our students for life and university, we also try to gain religious national values. We provide education in the field of science and social studies. We provide education in English, Turkish and Arabic languages. Our school has 51 classrooms, 1 computer lab, 1 library, 1 dining hall, 1 painting workshop, 1 gymnasium. Students who graduate from our school prefer departments such as medicine, engineering, teaching, theology. Only girls are educated in our school. We are a well-known, well-established and experienced school in Istanbul and Turkey.

We have gained rich experience in the realization of various projects with ecological purpose. In our school, there are two working clubs - Euroclub and Eco-club. Through their active actions, our students cooperate with similar schools in Europe about various topics and projects. We are situated in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria. We have more than 255 students aged 13-18. Our students are very experienced in topics like the Technology of pharmaceutical and perfumery and cosmetic products, Ecology and Environmental Protection and Technology of homeopathic and phito. We are the only one who teach these subjects in our country area.
Annually our student's participants in annual Olympic and national competitions in chemistry and environmental protection and in different eco festivals. We participated in Euro Nach II and Leonardo projects, and in many projects of municipal and national level, too. Especially about sport, physical activities, healthy lifestyle, learning, ecology, chemistry and education.
We are a school for Ecology - we teach our students everything about that-pollutions,environmentally-friendly attitude, saving energy, green energy, green architecture etc. from this area. We also participated in the Erasmus KA201 project about school online TV, which will be good for popularizing this project and our students will improve their IT skills as well.
Participation in this kind of projects provide our pupils with additional motivation to increase their understanding of the World. We would like to teach our students to integrate themselves more easily in the European multicultural space and allow them to be European citizens. For teachers and students, this project constitutes a great personal and professional challenge. Therefore we are going to participate in this project with our staff and with our pupils in all activities designed by involved in it partners.

THE REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA



Municipal secondary school "Kiro Burnaz" Kumanovo was founded in 1945 and to this day forms stuff in the field of agricultural production. Today the school works in two buildings. The central building is located in the village Dolno Konjare and has 13 classrooms, 2 laboratories, 6 cabinets, a school workshop, a bakery shop, a library, stables for livestock, beehives, a botanical garden and 28 ha of arable land where we perform one part of the practical teaching.The local school is situated in the settlement of Bedinje and has 4 classrooms. There are 480 students that are studying Macedonian and 22 students on the Albanian language distributed in 27 classes on Macedonian language and 4 classes In the Albanian language in two shifts.The teaching personal is made of 66 teachers who realize that teaching on Macedonian language and 10 teachers that are teaching on the Albanian language.At the moment the instruction is carried out in 4 occupations and 9 educational profiles, including -Agricultural-veterinary profession with 3 educational profile (Technician farming, agricultural management technician, veterinary technician) technological-chemical profession with 3 educational profiles (food technician dietician and Baker) –Mechanical profession with 1 educational profile (Cartehnichiar-mechatronics)and Personal services with 2 educational profiles (Cosmetic technician and hairdresser).--With the involvement of the school in this project, more students learn about our school. The students involved in the previous projects from the Erasmus + program are very satisfied with the activities, socializing and the learned, they tell this to their peers. Our teachers who participate in the projects are we gain new knowledge from different fields and teaching topics and we learn how to make the lesson of students more interesting to learn more easily and quickly. The Institute "Principi Grimaldi" is located in Modica, Sicily, in the very south of Italy. The city of Modica, which once was a County that during the centuries dominated a large part of the island, during the last decade has become very popular as a tourist destination thanks to its baroque-style architecture, its excellent quality gastronomy and its chocolate, made according to an old Spanish recipe and famous all over the world.
The School is a member of AEHT (European Association of Hotel & Tourism Schools) and RENAIA (National Network of H&T Institutes).
The Institute has relationships of fruitful collaboration with local authorities, social and cultural associations, the armed and public security forces, the entrepreneurial categories of the territory. The students take part in several events and project activities, like internships, fairs, festivals, competitions.
The headquarters of the Institute is spread across several buildings surrounded by green space, with a large courtyard and good sports facilities. The Institute has 50 classes, divided into 42 for the Hospitality and Catering sector, 5 for the Agrarian and 4 for the Optician course. There is a boarding school, a greenhouse (where new techniques of cultivation and production, including aeroponics, are tested) and a school-farm. The school also has a botanical garden in the heart of the city with many varieties of bamboo from several parts of the world.
The Institute has the following structures, equipment and educational facilities:

- cooking, pastry, reception and food & beverage labs
Our school has a good experience of Erasmus projects since it’s been involved and still is, in different European projects, and many topics have been developed: Social Issues and Inclusion, Sustainability and Environment, Food and Health, Sport and Health, VET.
